Hello Songbird Family,
First, we’re happy to report that progress continues on the aluminum components. Manufacturing is moving forward, and we expect all of these parts to be completed and ready for final assembly with the rest of the hamper within the next 5–6 weeks.
On the shipping front, we’ve been carefully evaluating several third-party logistics (3PL) companies and are narrowing down the options that best fit our needs. Our current top contender is ShipBob, which operates multiple fulfillment centers nationwide. One of their facilities is conveniently located near our Wisconsin production site, simplifying delivery logistics from the factory. In addition, they operate a West Coast hub, which helps reduce shipping times and costs for customers across the country.

One challenge we’ve been working through relates to the overall size of the package. Shipping costs increase significantly with every additional cubic inch, so we’ve decided to ship the Ultimate Hamper partially unassembled. To make this work smoothly, we’re re-engineering a few elements to ensure a simple and seamless assembly process for our customers. In particular, the rear wheels will ship unattached, and we’re refining the design so installation is quick, intuitive, and reliable.
Finally, I want to sincerely apologize for the delays. Bringing a new product to market has proven more complex than we initially anticipated. Please know that we are working diligently to deliver a product that truly meets the quality and experience we envisioned from the beginning. I’m deeply grateful for your patience and support as we continue this journey together.
The finish line is still in sight. Even if progress sometimes feels more like crawling than running, we are moving steadily forward.
Until next time, happy laundering.
Yours Truly,
Tina
